Quick Dialer Privacy Policy
- Quick Dialer keeps the people you choose on your phone. It does not upload, sell or share your contacts.
- There is no account, no sign-up, no advertising and no analytics.
- Optional tips are handled by Google Play. We never see your payment details.
What the app accesses and why
| Data or permission | What it is used for |
|---|---|
Contacts (READ_CONTACTS) | To let you pick people to add, and to show their current name and photo in the app and on the home-screen widget. The app only asks for this when you tap Add a person. |
Phone calls (CALL_PHONE) | Only if you turn on Call immediately, so a tap can start the call straight away. Otherwise the app opens your normal phone dialer with the number filled in, which needs no permission. |
| App settings | Your lists, their order, widget colours and other settings. |
What is stored, and where
For each person you add, the app saves a reference to the contact, their name, the phone number you chose and its label (for example "Mobile"). It also saves your settings. All of this stays in the app's private storage on your phone. Photos are read from your phone's contacts when needed and are not copied.
The app has no servers. We do not receive your contacts, call history or settings.
Device backup
If Android backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may include Quick Dialer's saved lists and settings in that backup so they can be restored on a new phone. This backup is run by Android and Google under your account and settings, and we cannot access it. You can turn it off in your phone's settings.
Tips and Google Play
You can leave an optional tip in Settings → Support Quick Dialer. Tips do not unlock anything. Payments are processed by Google Play under the Google Privacy Policy. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase was made, never your card or account details.
The Google Play Billing library included in the app may send diagnostic information about the billing service to Google. This is controlled by Google and is not used by us.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share personal data with anyone. The app contains no advertising or analytics code.
Children
Quick Dialer is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Your choices
- Remove a person from a list at any time, or revoke the contacts or phone permission in your phone's settings.
- Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app deletes everything it saved on your phone.
